How does Yogi AI work?

Enter your birth details once. Yogi AI computes your full Vedic chart — planets, houses, dashas, and divisional charts — and uses it to give you personalized readings, daily luck scores, auspicious timings, and answers to whatever you ask.

Question 3

Do I need my exact birth time?

Accepted Answer

It helps a lot. Your birth time sets your ascendant (lagna) and house positions, which make readings far more precise. If you don't know it exactly you'll still get meaningful guidance — but an accurate time gives the best results. You get a couple of free edits to your birth details right after you set them up, so double-check before your first reading.

How do I sign in?

You can sign in with Google, or with a one-time code sent to your email address. Either way there's no password to remember. Keep that email account secure — anyone with access to it can access your readings.

What do the plans include?

Accepted Answer

Seeker gives you a few questions every day; Oracle gives you more each day plus the full dashboard (dashas, timings, year outlook); and Sage gives unlimited questions, live voice conversations, and every feature. Compare them on the Pricing page — that page always shows the current prices and inclusions.

What is a “question” or credit?

Accepted Answer

Each time you ask Yogi AI something, it uses one question. Your plan includes a set number every day — or unlimited on Sage — so you always know where you stand. Questions are tied to your account, have no cash value, and can't be transferred to someone else.

Question 7

When do my daily questions come back?

Accepted Answer

Your plan's questions refill every day at midnight IST— the same moment for everyone, wherever you are. Unused questions don't roll over: each day starts at your plan's full allowance, whether or not you asked anything the day before. Your plan itself is still billed monthly or yearly as usual; only the questions are daily.

What happens to questions I bought in a pack?

Pack questions are yours to keep— they never expire and the daily refill never clears them. We always spend your daily allowance first, so a pack is only drawn on once you've used the day's questions. That makes a pack the right thing to buy for an unusually busy day, rather than a replacement for a plan.

Why is voice counted separately from questions?

Live voice runs on a real-time speech model that's billed by the minute, so it has its own balance. That also means buying a credit pack does not unlock voice — voice is available only on a plan that includes it (currently Sage).

Question 10

Monthly or yearly — what's the difference?

Accepted Answer

Yearly works out significantly cheaper per month. It's charged as one upfront payment covering twelve months, not twelve separate debits — the per-month figure you see is just how we display the saving. Monthly plans run in 30-day periods; yearly plans run for 365 days.

Why do I see ₹ and my friend sees $?

Accepted Answer

Prices are shown in ₹ for users in India and in $ elsewhere, based on approximate location. The price and currency shown on the checkout screen is what applies to your purchase. Taxes such as GST, and any bank or cross-border charges, may be added on top.

Question 12

What is autopay, and am I signing up for it?

Accepted Answer

Yes — subscriptions run on autopay. When you subscribe, you approve a recurring payment mandate (an e-mandate / standing instruction) through Razorpay on your card, UPI, or net-banking. That authorises us to debit the plan amount automatically at the start of each billing period — every 30 days for a monthly plan, or every 365 days for a yearly plan — until you cancel. Full details are in Section 6 of our Terms.

Question 13

Will you charge me more later without telling me?

Accepted Answer

No. The debit amount is fixed by the plan you authorised and we cannot raise it unilaterally. If we change our prices, your existing subscription continues at the price you signed up with — a new price only applies if you start a new subscription, and any higher amount would need your fresh approval.

Question 14

Will I be notified before each autopay charge?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As required by RBI rules for recurring payments, a pre-debit notification and the transaction confirmation are sent by Razorpay, your bank, or your card issuer — not by Yogi AI — to the phone number and email registered with them. Please keep those details up to date. Larger debits may also ask you to complete an additional authentication step; if you don't, the charge fails.

How do I cancel autopay?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings → Billing and tap Cancel autopay. It takes one tap, no reason needed, no phone call. When you cancel: no further charges are made, and you keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for. The current period isn't refunded and there are no partial refunds — so cancel before your renewal date if you don't want the next charge. Cancelling after a renewal has been debited doesn't reverse it.

Can I just remove the mandate at my bank instead?

Accepted Answer

You can revoke the mandate through your bank, card issuer, or UPI app — that stops future debits. But it doesn't cancel your account or trigger a refund, and our records won't match yours, so please cancel in Settings → Billing as well.

Question 17

What happens if a payment fails?

Accepted Answer

Razorpay and your bank may retry the charge. If those retries are exhausted — insufficient funds, an expired or blocked card, a revoked mandate — the subscription is halted and paid access ends immediately; there's no billing grace period. You can resubscribe at any time.

Question 18

Can I have two plans at once, or switch plans?

Accepted Answer

Only one active autopay subscription per account. To switch, cancel the current one in Settings first, then subscribe to the plan you want. Remember that cancelling leaves your existing access running to the end of the paid period.

Question 19

Does deleting the app or my account cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

No. Deleting the app doesn't touch the mandate, and deleting your account doesn't automatically cancel it at your bank. Always cancel autopay in Settings first, then delete. Account deletion is permanent and erases your profile, chats, and reading history.

Question 20

How do I pay, and is it safe?

Accepted Answer

Payments are handled securely by Razorpay, supporting cards, UPI, netbanking, and more. Your card number, CVV, UPI PIN and banking credentials go straight to Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant systems — we never see or store them. We keep only the plan you bought, the amount, the currency, and the Razorpay reference IDs.

Question 21

I was charged but didn't get access. What now?

Accepted Answer

Email support@yogiai.live with your account email and the Razorpay payment or order ID, and we'll either grant access or refund you. If a payment failed but still shows as debited, that's usually a temporary authorisation hold your bank releases within a few business days.

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Readings are delivered instantly, so used questions and activated unlimited access generally aren't refundable. We do refund duplicate charges, payments where access was never granted, verified technical faults on our side, and completely unused purchases reported within 7 days. Please read the full Refund & Cancellation Policy, and contact us before raising a chargeback — we'll almost always sort it faster.

Is my personal information private?

Yes. Your birth details are used only to build your chart and readings, and are never sold. To generate a reading we do share your question and chart context with our AI model providers, and your audio in voice mode. Can I talk to Yogi AI by voice?

Accepted Answer

Yes — live voice conversations are part of the Sage (Unlimited) plan. Just speak naturally and Yogi AI listens and replies in real time, like talking to a real astrologer.

How accurate are the readings?

Accepted Answer

Every reading is computed from authentic Vedic methods — your birth chart, planetary periods (dashas), and Choghadiya timings — not generic horoscopes. But the interpretation is generated by AI, so it's guidance, not a guarantee: the same question can produce different wording at different times, and outputs can occasionally be wrong. Accuracy also depends on the birth details you enter.

Can Yogi AI replace a doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor?

Accepted Answer

No. Yogi AI is for guidance, self-reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or investment advice, and you should never base decisions about treatment, litigation, or money on a reading alone. If you're in crisis or at risk, please contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional right away.

How old do I have to be?

You must be 18 or olderto buy a plan or authorise autopay. Users aged 13–17 may use free features only with a parent or guardian's consent and supervision. The Service isn't for children under 13.

Question 29

Can I ask about someone else, or resell readings?

Accepted Answer

You can run a relationship or compatibility reading, but only with the consent of the other person whose birth details you enter. You may not use Yogi AI to profile or make decisions about someone without their knowledge, and you may not resell, white-label, or commercially redistribute readings, or use them to train another AI model — see Section 9 of our Terms.
